PHA is a not-for-profit charitable organization. Formerly known as Pauline Home for the Aged, the organization provided housing for elderly women for more than a century.

After closing the home in 1999, the Board of Directors adopted a new mission. Today over 120 seniors in the central Ohio area receive personal expense management assistance in their homes, enabling them to remain independent and "age in place" in the community.
